Key responsibilities:

  • Elicit requirements with internal and external stakeholders using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints

  • Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and quality assurance metrics, specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those who must base their work on the requirements

  • Define quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other non-functional requirements

  • Lead requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards

  • Ability to create and maintain product backlog, facilitate backlog grooming and prioritisation exercises with multiple stakeholders 

  • Identify ways to assist product management in product planning through requirements development and analysis. Propose new product features and updates

  • Use research and analysis to identify emerging approaches, technology, and solutions that can be leveraged in the implementation of identified requirements

  • Reasonable knowledge of automation and its application in digitisation within specific industry verticals such as automotive, aerospace, defence and oil & gas 

  • Demonstrable experience of establishing a trusted relationship with clients

Technical expertise:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience; consulting experience is a plus

  • Strong interviewing, listening and analytical skills 

  • Ability to facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders and drive outcomes 

  • Ability to create documentation for both business and technical users

  • Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (such as customers, product management, and engineering)

  • Knowledge of standard research and analysis methodologies, frameworks, and techniques

  • Experience with application development methodologies such as Agile including writing user stories/epics and acceptance criteria

Salary above par the industry standard. Negotiable for the right candidate.
